It's a long drive from Ohio to
New Hampshire. Nearly seven
hundred miles! After a while, everything
begins to get very dull. Thank goodness for bug splats and
birdie droppings to liven things up.
(Not to mention driving one-handed while snapping photos.) |

While in Nashua, I stayed with my friend Aaron. We've known each other for a long time, even before kindergarden. That's him on the bed. |

Aaron and I share a habit of
collecting old computer hardware. Some people
call this stuff junk. We call it treasure.
Aaron has a favorite maxim for the doubters
among us: "A thoughtful mess is better than tidy idleness". |

On the other hand, Toby, (Aaron's room-mate) is tidy without idleness. He teaches 4th graders, and that keeps him very busy. |

Aaron & I found time to make a
tiramisu,
one of our favorite Italian desserts. For some reason
this picture makes it look like baked potatoes.
Poor Toby, who just the day before had eaten lobster for the very first time, and discovered how much he really didn't like it, tried our tiramisu and found it equally distasteful. We were not the least bit offended; that meant more for us! |
