The State of Ohio is rich with farms and pasture.  The Goba tour takes you through large tracts of scenic landscape.
When we weren't in the country, we were riding through small towns. This is a picture of downtown New Philidelphia.
A bicycling first for me, our route took us directly over the Mohawk River Dam.
The trip from New Philidelphia to Coshocton would have been 63 miles by bicycle, but some of us opted to take a 20 mile shortcut via a passenger train.
All Aboard!   We put our bikes in the boxcars, and then walked down to the passengar cars.  When we disembarked an hour later, I helped unload one of the boxcars.  Wow!  That's one way to learn about the benefits of a light-weight bicycle.
